Description

I hereby wish for LyX to have a user-configurable option to either display (and
export) "User's Guide" or "User Guide", at user's option, wherever it finds a
match for "User('s|) Guide" regex in the document.

Treat this as if it was added on April 1st, 2005. But I couldn't wait.
