#2913 closed defect (fixed)
mark-on broken

Description
When I run the mark-on command ( i.e. M-x mark-on) and then move my
cursor around, I don't get a highlighted region. I do get a highlighted
region when I do the same thing in Lyx 1.3.7. I can get a highlighted region by
holding down the spacebar and moving the cursor, but this can be quite awkward
for some movements.

I am impressed. This looks just like the right solution... I propose that you
check it in trunk at least so that it gets tested out.

Also fixed in 1.5.4:

I see it too, but have no idea why this happens. Hopefully it will be easy to fix.
