Implicit \author field in .lyx files

For the records. Comment #4 is invalid because the author information is also
needed in non-CT mode. As of 1.5.X, the user may switch between CT and non-CT
mode at any time with having to accept/reject all changes before!

As of revision r18835, the default user name is "Anonymous". It has to be
changed by the user manually in the Preferences dialog.

The author name will still appear in a document header even if it is unused.
However, this quick fix addresses at least fundamental privacy concerns.

Please leave this bug report open until we find a more sophisticated solution.

Why not add an option in the preferences "Add my name to LyX files modified by
me"? This option is disabled by default. In this case the user name is
"Anonymus", when the option is set by the user he gives his OK and the name in
the name field will be added instead of "Anonymous".

Uwe, I think your proposal goes into the wrong direction. The current change
tracking implementation (wrt the author list output) is clumsy and should be fixed.

IMO this is still a severe issue, and the anonymous-"workaround" is
unsufficient.
