Mathed forgets clipboard contents after editing

Select the epsilon and control-C
Type _, and control-V -> nothing happens
the clipboard is getting cleared ?

Also happens if you do \varepsilon again instead of
the underscore

That's because the clipboard is (ab-) used for copying in these cases.

Note that you can simply select the epsilon and type _ to 'move the
epsilon to the subscript'

[The cursor stuff has changed too much in 1.3.0, so a back port
is not trivial, and I see no simple way to do it in 1.2]
