LyX 1.4.3 Crashes with Page Up occasionally

Occasionally LyX 1.4.3 will crash on me when I hit page up. I get the following
error message:

lyx: Disabling LyX socket.

...Misc stuff removed...

Assertion triggered in class Point thiscall CoordCache::get(const class
LyXText *,w64 int) by failing check "posit != it->second.end()" in file
D:\LyX\lyx-143\src\coordcache.C:64

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

There has been a crash like that fixed in 1.4.4. I advise you to upgrade.

Thanks for your quick reply. I tried 1.4.4 but could not get it to work for me.
Installation appeared to go ok but whenever I tried to run LyX 1.4.4 nothing
happened. So I decided to stay with 1.4.3 until 1.5 is finally released, which
is what I will continue to do and will just have to live with this bug in the
meantime.

Which installer of 1.4.4 did you try?

I used the LyXWinInstaller for both 1.4.3 and 1.4.4.

No, the latest LyXWinInstaller version for LyX 1.4.4 works fine and nobody has
yet reported me something different.
Ken, when you want to upgrade and LyX 1.4.4 still doesn't work, then wait the
two weeks until LyX 1.5.0 comes out.
