pre-amble still has a menu entry. I do not see a simple fix for this
other than toolkit-specific menu UI (in which case we can remove tooltips entry too)

preamble is another bug now. What's the status of this bug ? what's left ?

As I already answered on the list: AFAIK setting bullets does not automatically
use the packages which are needed (e.g. pifont).

For the default metric units stuff, I had provided a patch, but noone responded:

I can update this (independently from #490) if requested (this would also fix
the "inset 18 out of range" message when opening the doc dialog).

what's wrong with preamble?
