Spellchecker dialog is too small / "stop" behaves like "start"

As Andre already pointed out, the spellchecker dialog is too small:

• If the document contains more than 9999 words, the word number does not fit into the "word count" box
• Some languages allow compound words that become very long (e.g. German); thus the box should be a little bit wider

In addition, we don't see any difference between "start" and "stop".
Could somebody please enlighten us?
