The spellchecking is finished dialog is only shown, when you close the document and
only then is the personal dictionary updated.
This must be a bug.

Huh ? If you spellcheck to the end of the document, this is certainly not the case.

I assume you're still using pspell. In fact, it does update, it just
doesn't write to disk until we finish the session.

We need to update the controller to make sure that both window-close
and clicking on "close" correctly ends the speller.

Yes, if you spell check to the end of a document, it works her as well. Unfortunately
that is not an option with long documents :-)
